Whilst i work this out (and i will !!!!!) Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, Woody Allen, Richard Attenborough and Kevin Costner are the actor / best directors (and Ron howard but unless they made a Happy days movie i dont think it was him.)

I am not a film expert but could one of the films be a Woody Allen film, he has won an Oscar (Annie Hall) but also stars in most of his films.
