I'd have said Whitehall for the second question - the Whitehall Theatre used to be the home of farce and maybe still is - BUT there is no underground station of that name.

I was wondering about Amasham (SHAM being a farce) but wasn't keen, I've looked through so many lists of stations!

Take a look along the Northern line until you come to a station with the same name as a farce which used to be on the radio.

Are we thinking about the same one, is it within another programme on radio 4 - Mornington Crescent?

Do you mean Bal-ham (Peter Sellers radio sketch) or Mornington Crescent (ISIHAC)? Not convinced by either....
