The 'Y' quiz - mistakes?
9 Answers
Could there be a mistake with Q.28, please? The largest GOTHIC church in Europe does not begin with a Y.
and also Q. 48 - I find that the fifth longest river in the world does not begin with a 'Y'
Any comments/help with these 2 questions would be gratefully received.

Does that count? It may be what they are thinking of..... you never know with these quizzes, the questions sometimes fit the answers not the other way around. Good luck anyway.
Thank you all for this help. I had both Yenisei and Yenisey down "in rough" and I see that cheaton and boaw have given me the same two - Is this the same river, but spelt differently, please?
York Minister was also my guess, but Cathedrals are also churches - Y.Minster is a cathedral/minster/church too - so, if you are saying a cathedral is not a church, then neither is a Minster - and vice versa, of course!
Back to the quandry!

Trussell - as this river's name is translated from Chinese who knows what the correct spelling is? You'll just have to go for one or the other.
Of course cathedrals and minsters are churches - just very big ones!
