Can anyone give any hints as to the artists or names of the two paintings. Thanks

I happened by chance on these quizmail pictures , of which only 79 can be described as art . The artist in question has (1) the same number of letters in his first name and surname . (2) three consecutive letters in his first name appearing in his surname . (3) If you were told which letter his surname began with , you would have no problem . Picture 75 is rubbish .
