Each months crossword and I've only ever done 5 seems to get more difficult. Now down to last 2 questions.

2d Novel which sets out to demonstrate a proposition. (5,1,5)
Have found on OneLook dictionary "Roman a These" .When Googled it came up with a novel by Susan Suleiman but with 2 more words in the title "on Trial".
Am I correct without these 2 words.

Thanks very much ulysses100 - I would never have got it as never thought it an acronym. As a last resort I was going to work through the dictionary, book not computer, so it could have been there.
