Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

You should note that due to an error the numbered clues do not correspond with the grid from 19a onward.
It is still possible to complete the puzzle however.
I have emailed the Times about this.

Hi K, I have also sent an email. How did you manage to complete the puzzle? Did you create a new grid? How have you got on with the Genius? A

Hello aperio I blocked out the two squares at the end of 19a
and 42 (now 44a) and renumbered the clues to correspond with the grid numbers.
I am making heavy work of the Genius but will get there- only two or three to go but I keep putting it down and doing other things as I know there is no real urgency.

I have not started Jumbo 670 yet, but the grid on my copy seems ok. 19a for example, assume it is "out of this world" will fit perfectly as there are 14 squares. Or have I missed something?

On my downloaded copy 19a runs to 23 spaces. Similarly my 22a is relict in stead of shipment.
Maybe the copy in the paper is correct but I thought it best to warn people.

K, At first glance, "The Times 2 Jumbo Crossword Number: 190" appears to be the right grid for Jumbo 670 and vice-versa! Have printed out the Times2 grid. A
