Hi gardenknowin, I work the othe way round. I generally save the cryptic crossword for bedtime and avoid looking at questions about it during the day. When I saw the correction in the main paper I thought then that not everyone would spot it.

I see kayakamina has posted a link to an earlier thread where this was discussed this morning (while I was still in bed!).

It was actually JimJools who first spotted the paper's apology this morning and saved a lot of people a lot of hassle.
