Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

How do you submit your Guardian Prize and Everyman xwords? Do you fill them in on line and print off your completed version to post? Can Mr Elderly submit them by filling them in by hand and posting? He does not use a computer. The AZ version, when printed out has the facility for entrants to complete with their name and address whereas the others don't.

Hi Mrs Elderly. I complete them on line and then print off and post to the addresses given on the site.
In the case of AZED I print of the blank grid and complete by hand. As you point out there is a handy section to supply your name and address.
For the Times cryptic, Jumbo and Mephisto I complete and then submit on line- but Mr Elderly can enter by post.

I hope your bruising has gone and that Mr Elderly is feeling better.

Thank you 'K' I didn't like to just email you as I feel I might be imposing on your privacy. Thank you for your help once again and I will email you in future. My blackeyes and bruising have now gone and Mr Elderly is having a reasonably good day today, thank you for asking.
