As you all know I am moving house in 7 days.Well I have boxes full of clothes the kids have grown out of,almost new games and toys and didn't know what to do with them all.
There is a woman in my road that everybody detests - she is foul mouthed, abusive, vulgar and and she has 2 kids she can barely cope with. She spreads evil rumours about everbody including me.Well 2 months ago she was diagnosed with cancer and has been very ill.Now the last time I saw her in the road she was f***ing and blinding at her neighbour as usual.
Well I decided to bite the bullet as its xmas and knock on her door to offer her these things as I know she has hardly two pennies to rub together. When she answered I was a bit taken aback as she has lost all her hair now(chemo) and yet said i was moving and would she like a few bits in my car.She followe me out and when I showed her she burst into tears ,gave me a huge hug and said she couldnt thank me enough as she couldnt even afford to buy a turkey this year, let alone presents.
I came home feeling very humble and tearful.

I would hate to be in her shoes and so just doing that silly gesture might have cheered her up for an hour.
I probably wouldnt have done the same, I'd have probably given the stuff to the charity shop, as I normally do.
But reading this, theres two little kids in our street, who (even now ffs!) play out in t shirt's and no shoes, don't know what the mothers problem is, so maybe next time I'll think twice. It was a nice thing to do, x

Well done Pink!!! I heard a long time ago that when someone is behaving their worst they need love and understanding the most. You looked past her bad behavior and showed her kindness. Not only she, but the children will benefit from your generosity and your generosity of spirit. Merry Christmas from this old Southern USA lady.
