I buy the News of the World every Sunday (yea ok, sad I know) and receive a free magazine with it. There is a gossip column by a certain 'Snoop Dog' (?) which always leaves me a bit puzzled. At the bottom of the page there are always footnotes where it reads 'PSSST!', followed by a question eg 'which soap star is cheating behind his girlfriend's back with his best mate?'.............there are usually three or more of these. Of course there doesn't seem to be any answer to these 'tit bits' which is so annoying!!! The answers are not on the following page or anything! It's tantamount to someone telling you they have something important to tell you then then changing their mind! What is it all about .......anyone? Are we supposed to know these things? Or guess? It is soooo annoying. Please let me know what you think.

Newspapers, as we all are, have to be careful of Libel (written untruths) so when they here a story that they know is unverifiable (i.e wouldn't stand up in a court of law) they couch it in these terms.

So those of you who like such things get the tittilation and the guess work and in this case the NOTW can't get sued.
