baby's strange behaviour!!
I have a 13 month old son who is thriving and very bright for his age. On a few occasions, He has put his hand at the back of his throat and tried to make himself sick! He finds it quite amusing and he once did it ,sat in his buggy while we were shopping. He actually brought up some liquid. Is it to get attention? When i did pay him attention and 'no, stop that' he was fine and got distracted by something else. I have also noticed he does it in front of people.. Whats it all about??? Im not worried cos I really do think its a mindgame.

Babies play mindgames all the time! They learn that certain actions provide reactions, and they try themout from time to time to see what happens.
What is happening here is that like all children, your son is exploring his orifices with his fingers, and he has found a reflex action that gets a reaction, so he will play on it. Children do the same with coughing, and evencrying sometimes. It is all a perfectly natural form of development, and no cause for concern. If you ignore his behaviour, the novelty will wear off, and he'llmove onto something else.

Ignore it. My son has been doing this a fair bit, and at one point made himself sick at the dinner table and brought back his entire meal.
He was doing it about 10 times a day but now he may only do it once a week and not to make himself sick.
Best way is to ignore it and distract him by asking where a toy is or something. They eventually realise its not worth doing as they get no attention.
Mind you, they soon move onto the next attention seeking thing lol
