I'm stuck on three clues out of a quiz of 80 questions, answers are types of sweets/confectionery;

1. Move the aircraft (4)
It's not AERO- this is the answer to one of the other questions)

2. Make merry (6)
I thought of 'PICNIC' (as in 'Life's one long picnic'), but am not convinced it really fits the clue

3. Crushing noise (8)
A friend suggested 'CRUNCHIE' but this would be an adjective, not a noun

Thanks for the ideas, I don't think 'Revels' grammatically fits the clue "Make merry", and I'm happy with 'Taxi' as the first answer.
