Google is giving me an enzyme for CHIMOTRYPSIN.
Apparently there are 3 alternative spellings of this word.
CHIMOTRYPSIN,CHIMOTRIPSIN,and CHYMOTRIPSIN so you would appear to be correct.Hope this isn't too confusing lol!
Neither Chambers - the recommended source - nor TOED offer the 'chimo...' version, so I was as confused as you, Pld. Nor did I get the 'ring-tone' idea.
Azed should have mentioned Chambers 2006 (as he did in a previous week) which has a meaning of mono as 'a monophonic ringtone'. But it doesn't have an alternative spelling of chymotrypsin.
