Can't believe it ! Stuck for second day running on a 3 letter word ! Did he not get money for The Raven, for example (3) P?E POE wrote The Raven PIE is a magpie or an old currency in india (as is PYE) Blackbirds (? ravens?) were baked in a PIE .....and as for PEE.... Any ideas, guys, and WHY? Thanks Nadolig llawen !

I think Poe....The Raven is a POEM...drop the M (Money)
I'm sure K is right, as ever. There is no HE associated with PIE or PYE.
I have also put POE - for the same reason as Kayakamina. Good luck!
