Thankyou geo0939,have finished the quiz now with the three I already knew.

Thanks once again for your help much appreciated.
Pardon the pun but I Googled google.
As did I but found it spelled as Googol. I presume that is what doddsredoubt is after.
3) Strictly speaking, one followed by 100 zeros is called a "Googol". The creators of the well-known search engine misspelt it when they called it "Google".

Even bigger is the number shown by a one followed by a googol of zeros - called a googolplex!

Thankyou geo0939 &ontareioice,in my veterans all it said is What is a Google,A very high number.

Thankyou both for your help again.
Question Author
Thankyou crofter but your getting me a little bit confused,is it a Google or a Googoplex?

Thankyou crofter again for your help.
Check Wikipedia. A googol or google is one followed by a hundred zeroes.
Checking Wikipedia under "Google" gets the following text (and I quote verbatim):

The name "Google" originated from a misspelling of "googol,"[2][3] which refers to 10^100 (the number represented by a 1 followed by one-hundred zeros).

Hence the Quiz in question wants the answer "10 to the power 100" or "1 followed by one-hundred zeros". Nevertheless, the quote lifted straight from Wikipedia above still holds true!
2. External Auditory Canal is the correct and rather uninspiring name.
Auricle is the outside cartilage covered with skin.
