4d ombrophil

We've got Acolyte for16a., is that wrong? If it's right, ombrophil doesn't fit.
I don't do this crossword but I knew 4d and checked the spelling in Chambers before posting the answer.
What is the clue for 16a?
I've looked up Chambers and acolyth is an obsolete form of acolyte - will that fit in ok?
I have unearthed the following Doctor Who adversary from the " archives " .......................

The Jagaroth are an ancient and extinct race of aliens introduced in the Fourth Doctor serial City of Death. The Doctor remarked that the Jagaroth were a vicious, callous, warlike race whom the universe won't miss.
