Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

It would be interesting to hear to views of all you regulars on the post-MM Saturday puzzles. I could not get a paper on Dec 30 (was there one?) but I thought that this week's was quite challenging and I enjoyed it.

Yes..I thought this week's was a bit better. Seemed more of a challenge.

We did find we had to search for more answers than usual. So, yes more of a challenge.

Yes, I also think that the puzzle this week was a big improvement following the initial disappointment of the "post MM grids".
In retrospect, I suppose it had to be expected that the first week of the replacements was going to be sub-standard, although the first one really did plumb the depths!

As above. The current compiler seems less keen on literary quotes, but fond of French connections.

Agree with everybody -- better this week , but thought as I was filling it in "oriflamme" that MM would not have lost the opportunity to do the Alt spelling thing.
Is it just my newspaper, the last weeks crossword winners section is blank.?

Quite right Slaney winners section in my paper is blank too, and agree this week the crossword is more challenging.

Just to add my voice to the consensus, this week's was much better. The first one was little more than an enlarged quick crossword, I thought. Still, I suppose Mr Mepham's sudden death caught them on the hop somewhat. Let's hope it continues to improve.

And I thought it was just me getting older! I don't know about the Sunday x-words, but Saturday and Monday are not as straightforward as they were. Google will have to improve!
