1 lowest prime number
Question Author
This is my thought so far, but is 1 a prime number? I have a feeling the lowest prime number is 2? If I can't think of anything else, I will go with that one. Thanks for your help.
Hmmm, Sarah, I was fairly sure that 1 is a prime from my maths studies (not yesterday or the day before) but a little research this morning suggests otherwise.
If I think of anything else I'll post it here.
Sarah, I searched for "lpn" on this site and most have the clue "2 lpn" which is of course lowest prime no. There is one mention of "1 lpn" (http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Quizzes-and-Puz zles/Question280308.html) and fibonacci - in whose opinion I would out a lot of store - gives lowest perfect number but my research suggests that 6 is the lowest perfect number...
See http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Quizzes-and-Puz zles/Question286033.html for answer to other one.

I have spent many days pondering over this one. The other suggestion I have thought of is lowest pure number. But I'm not confident on that one either!!
Lowest positive number ?
Nice try, but it's not strictly true, fractions are also numbers (there is no lowest positive number). It would have to be I for integer or WN for whole number.
