22 degrees zero minutes south, 18 degrees 9 minutes east according to Philip's Atlas of the World.

It's a big area, but roughly latitude 25N, longitude 15E to 20E.

I'm not sure if it was only my computer playing up, Aqua, but AnswerBank disappeared whilst I was in the middle of pointing out that 25N 15E was in the middle of Libya! (I knew, of course, that your N was a typo.)

For your benefit, Tpw, it's clearly impossible to tie down an entire country with one set of lat/long figures, so here are the numbers for Windhoek, Namibia's capital...22 degrees 35 minutes south, 17 degrees 4 minutes east.
