Bearing in mind that we are almost completely dependent on our good friend crofter for the " links league", I think we should run with his current proposals for the time being at least.

Personally I think we'd do best to run with yours Crofter this week and start afresh with Herculis in February, but happy to go along with the majority.

I'm happy to go with the majority over this but crofter you have been a life-saver over the past weeks. Even today the Jersey newspaper plane reportedly arrived on time but my paper has not yet arrived, almost an hour later that the normal Saturday delivery time - frustrating!

I think we should remain with only your links for this week crofter, and will then be able to reorganise system for next week accordingly. It could get messy otherwise?

Agree with your suggestion ; carry on as planned this week and Herculis next week.
Feel to run games in parallel this week would be a lot of extra work for you,crofter - and a bit confusing.

I am happy to go with majority, but it would be nice to finish this 4 week stint then start afresh with the new herculis in February.

I agree with Jools, if only because I think we should give the new puzzle a run before we decide.

These comments make a lot of sense: that is complete January's cycle under present arrangements (but keep an eye on Herculis). If all goes well, then make the switch at the beginning of February,

What you may not realise is that at present I can work the competition, so it is wholly contained within the weekend period. Once we switch back to Herculis then the feedback will intrude into Monday mornings (the beginning ofthe working week!

One thing may be inevitable - whenever/if Herculis is reintroduced then the Monday feedback may have to be delayed to Monday evening. However, I don't think that this should infleunce our decision to switch!
