MM Links Game 2007 January [Week 4]

MM (Michael Mepham) had universal appeal - quite irrespective of a person's age, gender, colour or creed. This quality serves as this week's inspirational title for the last of my Link Games as "One Size Fits All".

The four words to be linked will appear below at 9.00am.

Forget the rules and remember ONLY that all my selected Links contain at least FOUR letters and at most EIGHT letters. Stray outside this range and you are
wasting one of your predictions.

Entries will close at 7.00pm Sunday, when the selected Links will be disclosed and the top scorers declared for this round and the crowning of the new monthly
champion. This new monthly champion will be responsible for setting the link words throughout the month of February.

The front runners for this honour are JimJools, rogerr and Ont-ice , but there's a chasing pack!

In the past, EVERY link word has been spotted, but NEVER by the same entrant. Nailing all four links scores AT LEAST 6 points! Good Luck!

Ah Yes! The enigmatic polyglott of a chameleon that is swannbaker.

We had about 82 "messages" lodged and 46 "entries" leaving 36 for "banter" - bouncing off one another. At least three ABers are actively trying to score zero points and another 20 who entered at least once and scored zero points. I even counted another 5 who made four straight zeros. I guess the social interaction is the big attraction.

The two new entrants look to have the right MENTALity!

I wonder what KM and seekeerz (Steff) have in store for us tomorrow?

OK, maybe I'm just over-excited, but when do we get to find out the right links, and who wins and all that? Do we have to look elsewhere, or will you post the results in this list of answers/chat/banter Crofter?

Just think of me as the kid in the car going "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet....?" :oD

Gravit82mud - I haven't discussed this with seekeerz, but I would guess that the answers will known quite early tomorrow morning and will apppear somewhere on AnswerBank - either on a fresh posting or placed on the end of the posting of seekeerz (or both).

What will steff do with the results - only time will tell!

gen2 -You are correct in your assumption that I do not get the DT personally and will be wholly reliant on others to learn the solutions. I also will have little free time over the working day. I have allowed seekeerz a certain amount of autonomy to do as she sees fit. I'm confident that she'll do a great job!

Crofter, I was asking about this puzzle, not the KM one. I guess you must open a new thread for the answer, but I was patiently waiting for it here, and Gen2 has kindly pointed me in the right direction :o)
