blue dye'd �20 notes!!

my stepdads wallet went in the washer with his money in it, and now we have afew blue dyed �20s. how can i get it out!!?

Get what out of what? The dye out of the notes? Wash them again maybe but they could disintegrate and it might not work anyway.

Just spend them or if shops are reluctant to take them pay them into your bank - they shouldn't object.

In that case take some �20 notes of your own and soak them overnight. Dry them carefully.

When he's not looking do a swap and take the dyed ones to the bank.

You can send them to the Bank of England and they will make checks and send you new ones. You can also send the Bank of England notes that have been completely burnt and they will check them and refund you.
