Kim is nowadays usually a girl's name and so 'Kim's' would be 'hers'. Kim was also the eponymous hero of Kipling's novel and 'o' is the 'back' of the word 'to'. If you take that 'off' the word her(o) you get 'her'. What the 'rest' element is I have no idea.
