Thanks for allowing me to go to bed happily tonight. I feel like the runner who staggers into the grandstand long after the others have gone home, having started the Generalist late, resolutely didn't peep at other answers, then got completely bogged down on the last couple. Now just finished it - thanks to your discussion about thirty pages ago on demandant (which I'd put in) and the real answer of demurrant. No wonder I failed completely on Apres Coup.

I don't take part in the Generalist discussion Christiana ...but nevertheless wish you all the best and Good Luck .You probably have me confused with Slaney to whom one user kept referring to as Shaney !! So it's them you need to thank not me !

Christiana you're the star, for the self control exhibited in pushing on regardless when you could so easily have scoured the site for answers.
I was also flummoxed on those two answers and had problems confirming Moses Boat, although there seemed to be few alternatives.
You obviously appreciate that real satisfaction can only be gained by determining the answers by self endeavour. Now we have another 3-4 weeks before the next generalist challenge. Can't wait!! (S)

Yes, I was uncertain of Moses boat, but put it in as I could see no alternative. Was relieved to see others thought the same when I trawled through the responses for the last answer. can't wait either. Just hope I have the time to do it promptly so I can join in the discussions (which are also part of the fun). (C)
