Having not seen the actual abuse myself I probably shouldn't comment.....but shocking though it obviously was he apologised immediately and I think he should be given credit for so doing.
We have all made mistakes / misjudgements, and I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt that his posting was made with the best of intentions originally.
His abuse was far worse, but he has probably come from another site where this sort of exchange is commonplace. We should turn the other cheek and teach him some manners by our example. And he can't find a better teacher than Kayakamina.
Everyone here appreciates K's great wisdom, powerful intellect and devious mind, as well as his unfailing courtesy to everyone - novice and experienced solvers alike. And his explanations of tricky clues are always helpful. We all know how lost we have been for the last week while he's been having trouble with his computer.
Do you remember someone who made his debut on this site by accusing us all of being sad and telling us to get a life.? He very quickly learned how mistaken he was and is now a well-liked, active, and respected member of our community.
