Probably stating the obvious but a snooker aid is a Spider.
Maybe goes with the crab (crustacean) somehow ?

Point usually means N(north) S(south)E(east) or W(west) before the rest of the clues.

Have you got any further with SPRAIN ADA yet? I didn't get any joy from my previous posting on it.

I can't find Dubob in my atlas. All my other answers around that part of the quiz are in Australia. Is that where you found Dubob? Didn't have much joy Googling it either.

So the quiz setter was travelling up the East coast of AustralIa and then doubled back inland then, if you are correct. If the setter is prone to doing this, maybe SPRAINADA is in Australia still, and not among the islands to the north of Australia. Have you solved that one yet Candled or Peabrain

Still no joy with SPRAIN ADA but Im not sure of the possibility of it being in Oz as I have Darwin for 33 - I have looked on the islands off there but no luck so far !!
