Good morning all and thankyou to Aquagility for posting the results for me.
I apologise for the delay in posting the results - gremlins in the works would be the best way to describe it, but will perservere

no.3 with Security BLANKET was Jan1956
no.6 with Goose GRASS was saurmite
and not until no. 31 did we get JRM27 with Shot TOWER
then with three inspired guesses came wickedtongue,

and DizzyLizzie
1 point each went to crofter, ulysses100, rogerr, masterchef, mr and mrs Alibobs, teacher1, ChrisHewat and netkey.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.continuing on from there - well that wasn't quite how it was supposed to come out - I guess I need more practice with my bold bits.
Never mind, going bravely on - again Kate presented us with four interesting selections, all follow-on words and including one from out of left field - that being Shot Tower, but at least all four were guessed and all bonus points awarded.
I will go away and do a little more work on my running totals and get back a bit later with the results, and as I tried to say before, Congratulations and very well done everyone [and I suppose this will all come out bold, too]
Cos silly seekeerz didn't go back and check HOW to do the special trick she learned this morning, but better bold teacher1, than not, methinks !!
Now all I need is to learn how to cut and paste [which up to a point I do] which would make the whole exercise a lot quicker and less traumatic - it's not great when several minutes solid typing suddenly disappears into cyberspace
Good morning/evening Steff ... you're doing a fine job, keep up the good work!
I always use cut and paste when submitting a long thread, to avoid any loss of work .. but still don't know how to input bold or italic type into an AB thread .. I would welcome any info on this process!
Well done wickedtongue 3 from 4 is almost there!
Cheers (S) ;0)

She's baaaaack says she, gurgling with laughter at the antics that have gone on in her absence
Now first up, I have an apology to make to both Magyar and cpfcrosiel who were missed out out the credits list - each gained 1 point in this weeks competition.
And running neck and neck at this moment are
Jan1956 and JMR27 with 7 points.
next is wickedtongue with 6 points, hot on their heels.
following closely behind with 4 points each are ulysses100, slaney and gen2.
and right behind them with 3 points are crofter, rogerr, Magyar, Arabesque, twosearch, chriss and teacher1.
So it's going to come right down to the wire next weekend to find out who will be the Monarch of the Month or perhaps we'll have two ?? Well we'll work that out when we get to it.
Now I'll try posting this and see how it works, so fingers crossed....and shazaaam
