I watched the program House Trapped a few months ago that looked at problems with trees near property. They mentioned a website that provides information on the risks associated with different types of trees. I can't remember its name and have not had any luck searching on the Internet. Any clues? I have a silver birch in my back garden and am worried about potential damage to my house. Thanks

Strangely enough I put this link in Favourites not that long ago. It gives you names of all the trees plus the distance they should be from your house. I know it's probably not exactly what you are after, but it should be quite helpful.

Yes, it is feet. You're not dim, I've just had to drag hubby down from painting to double check. LOL!!!
