1d Think of the days of thr raj, sunny days.
7a Small fry those clerks, with wide trousers.
27d Scottish caps and partly north, that's to say.
27d is the Shetland Isles local term for a Puffin.

7a First word means trivial . . second word = ladies carry them.
I can't remember where I found 1d. I think it was a bit of guesswork and google. Second word is correct.

Thanks to you all. I have now finished and need a bit of a breather before starting today's telegraph. Am off to see The Good Shepherd in an hour and have just realised it is almost 3 hours in length. Think I may have to leave the telegraph till tomorrow........So much to do and so little time to do it!
