Thank you ovenglove, but I printed them off three weeks ago, it really helped with most of them, but I seem to have looked through so many times, my brain seems to not read them now!!!

I noticed in the list for Northern Ireland places named as towns are actually suburbs of outer Belfast and not towns ie Dundonald - Glengormley

Thank you so much everyone for all answers so far, it's been a nightmare quiz, although I enjoyed it to start with, but then my brain seemed to wilt!
Do they have to be towns?
13. seems to be an anagram of Slieve Aughty Mountains (Co Galway ) usually two words tho'.
There is also a Slieveaughty Mountain in Co Clare.
