add/remove programmes

on the add/ remove programmes section il have tried to remove a couple of games my kids have installed l cannot remove them as a box comes up and says cannot remove file...cannot read from the source file or disc... can anybody help please, as this load of S&!+e is clogging up my p.c

Click on MY COMPUTER>DRIVE C>PROGRAM FILES then search that folder for the folder which has the game and DELETE. Also delete from RECYCLE BIN.

You can also delete reference to the game from START>PROGRAMS

have you tried clicking on start > programmes then the game and uninstalling it this way , as nearly all games have an uninstall option here.

If you have the cd of the game place that in the CDROM drive then go to add/remove programs and try and remove it again. Let me know how you get on. SID

Have you managed to find the folder where the games are stored ??

PuzzlesRus............. l`m not that clever on the P.C`c so l wouldn`t know where to start as far as looking for files

Well my original reply guides you through the process. I am sure that you have an idea what the games are called or the name of the software manufacturer (or your kids can tell you - maybe not, if they don't want you to delete them :))
