No! I have stopped buying the paper now as the only reason I bought the wretched thing was for the crossword and I have been entering it for as long as I can remember - I've probably spent �1500 in postage and envelopes. Rant over! I feel much better now!

In reply to your frustration my friend did win when the prize was �750 and they were then publishing your photo in the paper I like you must have spent a fortune in stamps and its beginning to feel like a pointless excercise

A friend of mine won it when it was �750 and my nieces husband won the Sunday Express one 6 weeks later.I think there are about 20000 entries a week which means one win every 384 years.

One of the reasons there are so many entries is that we are our own worst enemies by giving each other the answers! But if you are not in, you can't win!! Good luck all - in the queue after me!

My mother in law won �500 - the week afterwards the prize went up to �1,500!
