Congratulations mad max! I'm afraid I gave up on this one some time ago. The crossword in the Indy magazine used to be my favourite, but I've rather gone off it since its reincarnation as Inquisitor. Has it got more difficult or is it just my imagination.?

After seeing Bridgenut's massively helpful answer I retrieved the Indy from the recycling box and had another look at it.

The 3rd answer I'm missing is unclued, and is the 2nd letter of 31d ? - A R K.

I'm also afraid I've gone wrong somewhere! I need to highlight 6 squares - related to the subject matter of Animal Farm. I assume I'm looking for 2 legs. I can find one - attached to missile. Where is the other?

Can anyone confirm that "youngbloods" is correct? If not, a nudge in the right direction wold be appreciated. Also competely stuck on unclued 8 letter word. I have g???c???.
