Has anyone out there ever been surveyed by Family Fortunes?

Me and my friend are in discussion as to whether the surveys on Family Fortunes are real..... random I know.

I used to be under the impression that it was the audience who were surveyed.... my friend is convinced it's all made up.

So I am wondering if anyone out there has either a) been in the audience, or b) been surveyed!!

yes i've been in the audience (hey, i was a student, and it's kitsch and. more importanty, FREE)

you complete a survey for future episodes. the only quesiton i remember was 'name a famous captain', to which i answered 'Capt Caveman', just to be a little different

I have answered this question on here a few times, 1979 in cardiff indoor market, a researcher stopped me on my lunch hour and asked if i would answer a number of questions for a new TV show and i did, it wasn't til a good few months later i saw the show launched and the way the questions were asked made me realise i had been one of the '100 people surveyed' lol

I always understood that it was previous contestants who were surveyed.

I was in the audience of family fortunes a few times some years ago now and no, i wasnt asked to do a survey! Shame, that would have been fun!
