MM Links Game 2007 March [Week 3]
82 Answers
"Good Morning" once again to you all - especially to those scratched and bleeding, cold and hungry. I've had a good night's sleep, had a hearty breakfast, showered and am snuggly wrapped in my dressgown and waiting to "dish the dirt". Will the waiting be worthwhile? We'll soon find out! Do you have the "Luck of the Irish"? Is there anyone out there who can make the "big hit"? Again, I am not talking of the odd one or two hits - but three hits and even four! Enough said - The going's about to get tough! My third set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am and you are invited to predict the missing links. I shall try to play fair and hit the launch time, but can you really trust anyone with a "wicked tongue"? Once again I have followed the same rules including the rule as crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts! This rule applies to your predictions (not my words to be linked). The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm when crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules of awarding points that have been applied during February.

Top o'the Marnin' to you wickedtongue. I loved the decoy. More a "green herring" rather than a "red herring"!
Thanks to rogerrabbit for the sympathy. My hangover is starting to lift. I had a full bottle of Italian Red with my Friday Pizza and finished off in the early hours with a highball which I call a "Braveheart a la Greco". Take a tall glass and fill quarter full with OUZO (that's the Greco bit) top up with dry ginger (our scottish bretheren are often red headed and have a dry sense of humour). Finally dop in two ice cubes and sip slowly.
Have I overdone it on the ice cubes, hence the hangover? Next time I'll onlly have one ice cube! You've got to be careful with ice-cubes ~ as the Captain of the TITANIC will confirm!
