Sorry GetOverIt, but I'm not reconciling arrow with quarrel.
I tried to fit in the 'carpet" but have and E where the P would go.
23 across is CantalouP

Ignore that post re the carpet. I had spelled Cantaloup incorrectly so Carpet does fit nicely.
I've just checked Chmabers - Quarrel - a square headed arrow.

Thanks - it's nice to help out one of " The Big Guns "

For a book yes, and considering that they are shipping it from Amazon.ca there will be 15% tax added to the $44. However it might be worth it. I've just splurged on a couple of cryptic code books so I'll wait until my other half gets over that before I announce that there's another one in the mail. I'll bookmark the site you gave me.
Thanks again for all your help.
PS. I'm not 'One of the Big Guns' just been around for a while and not too sharp on the cryptics hence the latest purchase.
