Someone posted earlier that they thought this one was easy! Am I doing the same Xword...??? Think I've cracked it; assume 6D is Town, but would one of you kind wizards please explain how? Thanks!

gardenknowin, I only mentioned on another thread that I thought it was easIER today, as I was able to complete it without outside help. As I am not strong on cryptics, my assumption was that it must be less difficult today.
Who knows, perhaps I am getting there at last ? No, I doubt that somehow!! ;0)

Thanks, all, thought you'd be there, kk ! Sarumite, keep trying, reckon you've done OK as I think that today's was one of the hardest Sat Cryptics I've seen (I've only been doing them for nearly 40 yrs - and won 3 times...)
