page 34, puzzle 13, pieceword could you please confirm, as I have found out, that puzzle 13 cannot be done because some letters are missing, and your confirmation will also show that I am not the only one having this problem, and will be obliged to you for sharing with me, frangipani

It was a misprint frangipani several of us couldn't fathom it out ....but I think I saw a post on here where some clever soul had actually managed to do it and came up with Nephew . I gave up !!

fragipani, issue 11, pieceword - answer is VANISH.
It was issue 12 that the pieceword is a misprint.

In issue 12 pieceword I simple put ERRORS ? it could not be done because of an error. I did not want to leave an empty space. Having said that, I e-mail a local magazine one time requesting how they had a winner of a competition that was impossible to do because of a misprint - their reply to me was "we picked the first one open that put an answer" needless to say I never bought the mag again.

hi clare, i have heard of that before, can't remember which mag it was but they virtually said the same, sometimes makes me wonder if thats what they do!
anyway, turra seems to have solved the pieceword for issue 12, (don't know how on earth he/she managed it !!) top marks to her/him.
