Can I evict my ex from the house and sell it?

Hello, this is for my girlfriendbut here is the story.
She has a house with her ex that he has ben remolding for about 5 years. At this time it is not finished. A couple of years ago he had outstanding tax issues and the house mortgage and deed was put in her name only. Now he lives in the house and pays the mortgage but it is not in his name.
My question is can she evict him and how long will it take to have him move out? Process for this?
If he is evicted can she sell the house to get out of debt?
Can she just sell the house without his apoproval?

Again she is the only one on the martgage loans and deed.

She can apply for a court order to sell the property and have the judge divide the spoils.

If it's her name on the property deeds then she owns the house (leaving aside some other agreement between them where she agrees to pay him money if it's sold).

I'm not 100% sure but he may be a tenant by default and she would have to issue an s21 to evict him.

Complicated - I'd seek legal advice if I were her.
