Good morning all. Hope someone can help with the last two - 1a Fighting in packs one side of London (8)
ba???ing I think it's battling but I don't understand the clue.
19a Type of bandage wound around leg with no end of pus (4) p?c? I think it might be pica but, again, I can't fathom the logic of the clue.
Any help gratefully received.

Battling is correct. In cricket, the batting side is 'in' and 'L' is one side of the word 'London'....the 'L' is inside - ie packed by - batting.

Hi Quizmonster and thanks very much for your answer - that's 1a sorted.
Oops! Pica is a 'type' style...a sort of a font, as it were. I couldn't fathom any other reason for putting that in on Sunday morning! Still can't!

aha - at long last, I've twigged it! spica (Chambers: a bandage wound round an injured limb) minus the "s" (end of pus) = pica (it's only taken me all week!)
Oh, good! I knew there was an 's' missing from somewhere but putting it at the start of the word must have been the only position I didn't check out...plonker!
