I am aware that thes have ben asked before but I'm not aware that they have ever been answered so I thought I would just give it another go in the hope that somebody, somewhere, can suggest answers:
1. Solo (5 letters)
2. "Towering rides" near here (6 letters)
Any help would be very much appreciated.

My apologies:- I did not realise that the Clue 'Solo' was included in the 'Towns & Cities' category.

But, unfortunately, on a further mission to answer your original question I am unable to come up with any other five letter solution for 'Solo' , nor can i find a place named 'Alone' -- I must admit defeat I'm afraid.

Does the answer consist of 'Whist.. '? perhaps!

It has me beat ;- The answer to Solo only has 4 letters.
Towering rides has 6 letters so I dont think whist is in any of them. Thank you for trying. Frannie
