Cutting corners in relation to reconstructing? (7)
A?A?R?M. Anagram is the only word I can think of that fits, but what has it got to do with "cutting corners" ?

Hi K
I've been watching recorded highlights of the ODI between Australia and Ireland - a match which Ireland would prefer to forget.
This is not a difficult crossword, the rest of the clues presenting little difficulty. So I am surprised that the normal way of clueing "anagram" Nag/ Ram or Agra has not been used.
The answers to clues leading to the check letters (A?A?A?M) seem to be bulletproof.
Turning to the word relation, this might be "ana", but this leaves "gram" to account for.
I then thought of niches and neices, but this doesn't work either.

PS I've reported an error on the Sunday Times grid
