If I don't tell you, I guess someone else will, but I just think it's wrong where there are prizes to be won. I know two people who regularly send entries with several answers blank, and refuse help, even though they know they've no chance of winning the main prizes.. I just hope that beneficiaries of help send generous donations.
Having said that, you need the name of a group.

Whatever is the matter Muffet. This is the first time I have asked for a clue. Why pick on me? Just to put you straight I have been working on this clue for a couple of weeks and why shouldn't I ask for a clue anyway - lots of others do.
I have been trying all sorts of anagrams but not coming up with anything.

I do apologise most sincerely to jenniferd. I assure you there was nothing personal. You just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I know that lots of other people have asked, and this is something that I felt I wanted to say a long time ago, but I held back as I knew that it would cause controversy.
As it happens, I've managed to finish the quiz. I have two friends who resolutely refuse help. They think it would be unfair, and will send their entries in incomplete, and I just feel it unfair to them that there may be people winning prizes who may have got half their answers from here.

As for your question, Aquagility, I am only too pleased when I'm able to offer help. I think I have only once sought help, and that was certainly not when any award was involved.
I hope you will all understand my viewpoint, and that you will all accept my apology for any offence caused.

Muffet, I don't think you mean to, but you come across as a bit holier than thou. Subscribers to AB are mostly a friendly group who try to help each other. The prizes are not huge and, when one of us wins, we all feel good about it. Join in the fun!

Most of us I think I am right with this do quizzes to keep our brains healthy and to help out charities in the mean time and not for any gain. That just gets plowed back into another charity.

OK, Aquagility. I accept the purpose of AB. I've apologised. What else am I required to do? If you had friends in a similar situation, perhaps you would feel the same. I am sure you will fully understand why I held back for so long. I expected controversy. Wasn't I right?

Imagine all this controversy arising from my one little question but apology accepted Muffin. I only have Q82 to solve and am quite willing to give clues to others when possible. Anyway all this has not got me any further on with my small problem. Is it a Pop Group and if so is there a known site I can browse. So far not got anywhere Googling?

Jenniferd, I am most grateful to you for accepting my apology, and hope that anyone else who needs it will accept it also. I can't quite decide now whether I'm sorry that I said what I did, or would have been sorry to have missed the outcome. I'm certainly sorry for the upset that I caused you personally. I guess I was a bit sensitive about this one because of my friends, but I do recall that the quiz had barely been out a couple of weeks before questions began appearing.
Some of the comments that have emerged have been interesting, though. I have always asked for any winnings to go back to the charity, but that hasn't happened so far. Still, it's nice to see your name in lights if the almost inevitable errors haven't occurred. Best of luck, and I hope I have ruined a beautiful friendship.
