what the hell is canneloni?

im aware that canneloni is pasta, and its realy nice, but whats in the middle of them?! odd question i know, but im plannin on havin a go at makin sum! x

You can put in what you fancy. Ricotto and spinach is usual in the frozen food dept. Here is a step by step to making them.

Cannelloni is the pasta tube. Try mixing cottage cheese, cream cheese, spinach, sultanas, pine nuts, grated parmesan, grated nutmeg and black pepper together and stuff it into the tube. Mix a tin of tomatoes with some cream cheese and pour over the top. Yum. My recipe originally called for mascapone and ricotta but I couldn't tell the difference between those and cottage cheese and cheapo Aldi cream cheese. Tastes just as good

hi, i used to live near Rome and they didn't use pasta - they used pancakes instead.
Absolutely delish!
Filled with bolognese sauce and then rolled up and layered as if making a lasagne.
