Start somewhere?? and I thought I was really quite good!!! Knitting with my arthritic fingers? another no-no. I only do this xword for 6 weeks when my friend is visiting as I like to impress her(!), and I really can't afford to pay �5 per week for it and she buys it and I photocopy it, also it's surprising how many Spanish words pop into one's mind so it's all very off putting, but do you know, I really enjoy doing them at present. so you are stuck with me til end of May!

Please don't argue. I have no illusions as to my ability to answer all the dt gk crossword. In fact I am amazed that so many of you can! Even when I google I don't seem to get it. I have spent hours today learning about potato seed, and I got the wrong american fruit, I got ilama when it was guava, so I do cheat by asking. My poor friend doesn't have a computer only a spelling machine and dictionary, and I just HAVE to beat her. I don't feel too bad as there's no money involved, just pride.

Columbus ..why don't you take up knitting ....it may help you to relax and stop criticising others.My good friend Neti may not be quite as quick as some with regards to crosswords but I am her coach and she plays very good catch up. ! So watch this space !
