Good morning, Steff. Good morning all.

Kate has given us an easy ride today - and (I think) she's favoured me with quite a good start to the month!

Todays links are:

Charm Offensive
Clean Cut
Original Sin
Drill Sergeant

We're all agog, Steff.

Just looking at them, I think she had you in mind when she set the crossword - is that a clean sweep [oh dear awful pun] or 3 out of 4 ???
Question Author
She had to knock one, Steff, or people would start talking.
A very good start for you AQ - 3 out of 4 you're starting the month with 6 points - now will go score everyone else and get back a bit later. Old clever clogs, aren't you !!!
may have been an essy ride for you Aq but I got a big fat zero
well done anyway, and thanks steff

Excellent start to the month, Aquagility. Not many Entrants can reach a points total of SIX over the entire four weeks!

Congratulations and "Well done"!
Question Author
Thanks, jan and crofter. I'll have to see if I can't pull up a few trees this month, as I shall be away for most of June and July.
Well done Aquagility - a great start to the month.
Managed to get two right myself - wonders will never cease!!
Well Done A!!.....again!! What a brilliant start...nothing for me I think...can't even remember what I put now!!
Oh well...bad weekend's guessings for me in both games!..different tactics next week!!!

Hi, Pauline. This is what you put

Original Print...(since sin is gone!)
Clean Slate
CharmLess
drill barrow

You should have stuck with sin. You can seldom go wrong with sin!
Well done Aquagility!
I used to think the winners succeeded more by good luck than good management, but unfortunately for my theory the same names are cropping up too often for good management to be written off.
Message to other members of the Free Fall Club - of which I think I am the doyenne - we're going to have to rethink our management techniques for June!
Thanks Steff for continuing to keep tabs on us all.
Kettledrum. Don't think too deeply about management techniques otherwise the club membership might fall. We had a host of new members for the pickings after the MM links this week, but alas none signed up.
We'll have to learn to manage our ad campaign, never mind the links games.
O-ice.
PS. Membership at moment O-ice (2), Sarumite (1) and Kettledrum(1). At least we can form a quorum.
Question Author
I'm banged to rights, kettledrum. I do have a cunning plan!
Ont-ice...I officially ask for a 'new' membership to your club!
Pauline. Send a cheque to Sarumite for 1000 sterling and you're in!!!!!!!!!!

what does that work out to be in Aussie dollars ??? then again, on second thoughts, why does Sarumite get the money
- that sounds very dodgy to me. but I'd still like to join the club too, please
Question Author
This is the new Sour Grapes Club. There's a 2 for 1 offer going for a limited period only, you can have two nul points weeks credited for each one actually achieved. Don't miss it!
Sarumite gets the money because he's the treasurer.
And I see Aquagility has started yet another club. Well done mate! But the Free Fall was started long before the Sour Grapes so you may have trouble recruiting new members. :-)

Good grief - do I have to explain all my jokes?
