I have Petasus. The clue calls for ancient Greek hat, and Chambers gives Petasos as later, Latin, version.

I've put petasus, but my research shows it could be either so not sure.

Surely Petasus is the Latin form and therefore Petasos Greek ? Jury still out on this one !

I think penymel is right, and I have misread the entry in Chambers. It should be that Petasus has been latinised from the Greek Petasos.

We shall have to wait until next week to see which one Kate plumps for.
