Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

If PARIS = 15; CARACAS = 28; ISTANBUL = 36 and WELLINGTON = 55; then logically which African capital city equates to 10?

(There is only one acceptable answer to this!)

Multiple postings are annoying - if they can't be solved then maybe there is a typo in the question

PARIS has 3 consonants and 5 letters 3x5=15 - this works for CARACAS but not the others.

They relate to a specific property of each Capital - only Lome has this property of all the African capitals.

I just saw this post and wondered what the logic was behind it. I'm still none the wiser.

You can work this out folks -

there is a specific relationship between the numbers given and a simple property of each of the Capitals. First decide how Lome is unique amongst the African Capitals to establish that property, then you will spot the relationship.

Hint: What is the general pattern from the examples given ?
