Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Whilst I am pleased to receive 2 points for getting Tonic Water how about another 2 for Scent Gland ? I have checked back to my entry and yes I did put it down.

Hi Cheshunt, seekeerz is probably in bed at the moment. It's about 1.30 in the morning for her. It might be better to post this again in the morning. (UK morning) I'm don't know what part of the world you are in.

I'm sure she didn't mean to short change you. :-)

Cheshunt, you may not get a quick answer from seekeerz because she's in Australia and their clocks are all upside down.
She must decide, but there may be a misunderstanding concerning the scoring. You get one point for each correct answer, two if you are the first to give it. (There is a little latitude in that you get the bonus point if you are within two minutes of the first)
Complicated - not really! Welcome to the game, anyway.

many thanks to two of my best friends for springing to my defence whilst I'm in the land of Nod or should that be Don, for me seeing we walk on our hands down under !!!!! NOT.

No intentions of short changing you cheshunt - as AQ sets out 2 points for the first correct matches, there after 1 point for each correct match, unless your entry comes within the 'two minute rule' so you were awarded one point for each of your correct matches and may I say that for a newie, you've got a handle on this very quickly so well done and keep up the good work all the best, S

Many thanks for your replies. I wasn't aware of the scoring system and assumed 2 points per correct answer. I'll know better in future and hope I have not offended anyone.

I've learned something else too. Seekeerz is in Oz. Well I never.
