Pintshop Pro Question - Valentines Day Help Required

Every year I try to make my girlfriend a present for valentines day rather than just splash the cash on presents. What Im trying to do is take a picture of us and using the crop tool cut that picture into the shape of a heart and then put it onto another background, the background bit I think I can suss but I cannot think of a way to cut the picture into a heart shape outside of using the freehand tool to draw a heart over the picture any ideas????

Not sure if this is possible with paintshop pro. There are heart shapes in the auto shapes draw tool but it seems to store these as square frames. Maybe you could try something with the heart auto shape ??
One piece of software that definitely does what you want is Microsoft PictureIt. There are a number of tools in PictureIt for cropping edges to various shapes.

a heart shape is caused by 2 adjacent circles atop a point down triangle; theres your starter for ten. :-)
